Well, many of us never prepare for it and mess up things from the first question itself... by answering about your school life... or you siblings... or anything else...
Look, as a candidate you need to sell what the other person wants... and you need to start with this question itself... "Introduce yourself", by conveying why you are the best candidate for this job... in quick sentences mention about your schooling... and come onto projects which are in sync with the current job...
Further, you need to make sure that your answer must sound music to the interviewer's ears... hahaha
